so sorry for my delayed response to this email, i have been working through a global pandemic which people refer to in the past tense now even though it is still definitely happening

Are there any UK-based translators/interpreters out there who know what the post-Brexit requirements are for short-term employment contracts with UN agencies in Switzerland?

I'm guessing it's no longer "just hop on a plane and turn up to the office"?

i’m incredibly frustrated with how this tiktok spread the false notion that Squid Game is horribly translated. that person’s complaint is COMPLETELY misdirected as it was referring to the eng CC, NOT eng sub. the subtitles are just fine, and i say this as a NATIVE korean speaker. https://twitter.com/LaymansLinguist/status/1444345737236684805

A Korean speaker watched "Squid Game" with the English subtitles on, and she has some thoughts on the translation:

Anyone else constantly told that their name is "invalid"? It's a hyphen! I'll have to just use the first half of my surname on its own to book my flu jab but come on @BootsUK...
